Reserved…for ladies

Before i start writing, i should mention that the whole inspiration for writing this post has come from an announcement made in Delhi Metro that “Male passengers are requested not to sit on the seats reserved for ladies”. It is one step ahead actually. Earlier they used to announce that “Please vacate seats for Ladies, senior citizens and physically challenged”. Now this one. What irritates me the most is the contrast between the thought being created that women are not the weaker sex, they can do everything blah blah blah and such announcements. In Delhi, in buses also all the seats on left side are reserved for ladies and oh yes they are sitting on some seats on right side too and NO you can’t ask them to get up. Is there an explanation that how all of this bullshit fits under one cover ? One on side the whole media, women organizations and x y z are hell bent on proving that women are not the weaker sex and on the other side women need reserved seats in buses, metros and where not ? And after getting into the bus or metro, the way they ask for the seat is just awesome as if it was their Dad’s property. Bullshit ! Either they should accept that yes women are the  weaker sex or they shouldn’t ask for reservations !

jab bahar aai to sehra ki taraf chal nikla
sehan-e-gul chod gaya dil mera pagal nikla

(sehra=desert, sehan=yard, gul=rose)

jab use dhoondne nikle to nishaan tak na mila
dil mein maujood raha aankh se oojhal nikla

(oojhal=invisible)

ik mulaqaat thi jo dil ko sada yaad rahi
hum jise umar samjhate the woh ik pal nikla

woh jo afsana-e-gam sun ke hansa karte the
itna roye hain k sab aankh ka kajal nikla

hum sakoon dhoondne nikle the pareshaan rahe
shahar to shahar hai jungle bhi na jungle nikla

kaun “Ayub” pareshaan nahi tareeki mein
chand aflaak pe dil seene mein bekal nikla

(tariki=darkness, aflaak=sky, bekal=uneasy)

bade time baad Gurdas Maan di koi film aai hai te mainu dekhan da mauka lag gia jaldi hi. so review likha rihan.

samjh nahi a rahi film dian changian gallan ton shuru kita jave ja khaamian ton. khair changian ton e shuru karna chahida hai. Rimpy Prince di eh pehli movie hai te uhna ne wadia kam kita hai so es karke oh wadhai de patar ne. Gurdas Maan, Vivek Shauq te Manav Vij di acting sarahun yog hai.

hun gal karde an kamian di. 2 cheezan sab ton waddian ne. Gurdas Maan ne enne wadde wadde role play kite ne k aam role uhde kadd unsar bahut chota lagda te hamesha eh feeling aaundi k insaaf nahi ho riha Gurdas Maan naal. because he is capable of doing a loadz more. dooji kami sare actors di. Gurdas Maan, Vivek Shauq te Manav Vij nu shad ke almost sare e actor Punjabi bolan lai sangarsh kar rahe c. lagda uhna da sara dhiyan Punjabi dialoge bolan ch lag riha c rather than acting. te sab kuch kinna nakli nakli ja lagda c. music b film da ok ok hi c. kuch gaane theek c te baki sara kam jaldi jaldi ch hoya lagda c. poore mahol ch koi jaan e nahi c. gurdas maan te vivek shauq e rule kar rahe c jado hor koi character screen te aaunda c tan gal nahi ban rahi c.

film de end te dharaman wala message bahut wadia tareeke naal ditta hai…really appreciable…

khair meri soch unusaar film te sari galbaat gurdas maan di kadd di nahi c…

Testimonial’ing

While reading testimonials of people on Orkut, i always wonder how people can manage to write those sugar coated words and sentences. I tried it so many times but my little knowledge of English seems to end where that sweetness starts 😉 . Anyways nothing much against it, i actually enjoy reading all that stuff. Just a thought that how people do that 😀 .
