Rocket Singh – a must watch

Watched Rocket Singh yesterday and its a must watch. If you understand a bit of corporate culture you will relate to each and every bit of the story. Totally honest and no-crap story. No faaltu songs, romance and all. Excellent performances by all the characters. Do watch it because its an intelligent film way away from the standard crap we are bombarded with ! Fashion

Well, in my second attempt, finally i managed to watch the full movie. First the famous statement about the movie: it exposes the realities of fashion world. Period. Now as a movie, the first 1 hours is almost crap. People either are over-acting or not acting at all. It gets little better after 1 hour. In the acting department Kangana Ranaut does pretty well. Priyanka Chopra is ok types. Raj Babbar has a very small role to play. For the whole 2 hours 45 mins, i was thinking, when the heck its gonna end ? So you can think for yourself how good it is ? I won’t rate it more than 2 out of 5. ...

Hellooooo

Well, i watched Hello today and WHAT A WASTE…i mean what a waste. It was a pretty nice story (except that God calling thing) and man they screwed it up like anything. No acting, no direction, no flow and what not. Its like hell to pass the 2 hours. It could have been a really good movie but man they just wasted it like anything. Bad…too bad.

A Wednesday

I watched A Wednesday onSaturday. Its a real good movie. Just 1 hr 45 mins and no love story & naach gaana. Thankfully some non-karan-johar cinema to be checked out. Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher and Jimmy Shergill all of them did good work. Jimmy Shergill’s acts were done a bit over. The movie flows very nicely. No boring and sleepy scenes. No jumping of story from A to Z and then back to M. Also no violence was there in the movie. Just the fear of the bombs. Naseeruddin Shah played the character of the common man beautifully. His pent-shirt and then the way he walks totally represent a normal man in the society. Anupam Kher as usual also did great. Jimmy Shergill has a small role and he did it well. Deepal Shah looks ugly and sort of extra. That part could have been handled in somewhat different and better manner. ...
