jab bahar aai to sehra ki taraf chal nikla
sehan-e-gul chod gaya dil mera pagal nikla
(sehra=desert, sehan=yard, gul=rose)
jab use dhoondne nikle to nishaan tak na mila
dil mein maujood raha aankh se oojhal nikla
(oojhal=invisible)
ik mulaqaat thi jo dil ko sada yaad rahi
hum jise umar samjhate the woh ik pal nikla
woh jo afsana-e-gam sun ke hansa karte the
itna roye hain k sab aankh ka kajal nikla
hum sakoon dhoondne nikle the pareshaan rahe
shahar to shahar hai jungle bhi na jungle nikla
kaun “Ayub” pareshaan nahi tareeki mein
chand aaftaab pe dil seene mein bekal nikla
(tariki=darkness, aaftaab=face, bekal=uneasy)

जब बहार आई तो सेहरा की तरफ चल निकला
सेहन-इ-गुल छोड़ गया दिल मेरा पागल निकला
जब उसे ढूँढने निकले तो निशान तक ना मिला
दिल में मौजूद रहा आँख से ओझल निकला
इक मुलाक़ात थी जो दिल को सदा याद रही
हम जिसे उम्र समझाते थे वोह इक पल निकला
वोह जो अफसाना-इ-गम सुन के हंसा करते थे
इतना रोये हैं क आँख क सब काजल निकला
हम सकून ढूडने निकले थे परेशान रहे
शहर तो शहर है जंगल भी ना जंगल निकला
कौन “अयूब” परेशान नहीं तारीकी में
चाँद आफताब पे दिल सीने में बेकल निकला

I need few lines in Hindi (shayari) which can be used on a wedding card for the Tikka (or Tilak) function… I’m not looking for any serious types… on the same hand, don’t want stupid or kiddish ones as well.
does anyone have any thing which can help me ?
