iPhone in India
Ok, so all the wait is over and they have announced the iPhone prices in India. The 8 GB one will be for INR 31000 and 16 GB for 36100. What the hell ? In US its being sold for $200 which comes up to be 9000 INR at the max. And here more than 3 times. Why ? They are just trying to screw people with this iPhone tag.
Anyways, Nokia’s capture in Indian market is going to be impacted terribly. They are already into the launch of N96. Lets see how things go on.
BTW by pricing iPhone at 31k, they just lost one customer. I am not buying it 
One more,me too!I planned to give it a gift to my sis but I wont give her a phone of 31k which can’t even forward text messages!I mean WHAT NO FORWARD TEXTS? Great! So what I am buying,a bloody music gadget or GPS which I don’t think would help me in finding out all the streets where I mostly am! This “sweep-the-cream” methodology of Apple is a serious mistake.
Not sure about N-series too. It didn’t prove itself well either. Now in all this,Touch Diamond stands out,in price,functions,looks everything!

Seriously this is plain and flat stupidity. Its missing so many features and priced at more than 3 times than US. I was thinking of buying it but once heard the price, its NO NO.
Just cant understand what is running in Apple’s head. They generally are famous for running short of features. See iPod, it has no FM radio, no recording…nothing. Simple mp3 player and there are better mp3 players (with FM, recording and other features) in the market which cost less than iPod.
They make people crazy by those stunning looks, nothing else.
